Drive Jaguar’s classic sporting saloon

‘Grace, pace and space’. That was the maxim of Jaguar’s founder Sir William Lyons, and it was arguably best captured in one car, the MkII – a compact saloon suitable for both the road and for racing. With a clever compact chassis design and the famous ‘XK’ engine range, it also had some serious performance credentials.

There were few classier ways to travel at speed while still enjoying the executive comforts one might expect of a Jaguar. That’s what helped to make it a British cult classic, but also a great success in the British Touring Car Championship with drivers such as Graham Hill.

With the Heritage Driving Experience, guests will have a chance to feel this for themselves, with a 15-minute drive of a Mk II ‘Coombs’ – special edition of the famous saloon featuring tuned suspension and a more powerful engine.
