The Grace and Pace Experience will give you a real sense of Jaguar’s journey through the ages, and a taste of the company’s great successes in the world’s toughest motor races. As well as driving the Heritage Collection’s greatest hits, guests will also get behind the wheel of new – yet historically-inspired – creations from the Special Vehicle Operations department.
In total, you will drive nine very special cars – past and present – over a whole day at a private test facility, with hospitality included. In fact, between the morning and afternoon driving sessions, guests will be chauffeured to the nearby Orange Tree restaurant for a luxurious lunch, before returning to for the afternoon action.
Your experience might start with a drive of an XK150 – the fastest production car of its day – and end with a drive in a C-type, a model that scored a remarkable victory on its first outing at the Le Mans 24 Hour race in 1951. Alongside those you’ll also experience a D-type which demonstrated revolutionary technologies and helped to continue Jaguar’s dominance of Le Mans in the Fifties.
Moving into the Sixties, guests will spend some time behind the wheel of a MK II ‘Coombs’, the second-generation of the company’s sporting saloon raced by the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, and an E-type Roadster, which needs little introduction.
Bringing things up to date is the mighty XKR-S GT, an extremely rare, very high-performance edition of Jaguar’s charismatic coupe. With its 542bhp V8 and muscular looks, it’s one of the most spectacular Jaguars ever produced and will undoubtedly be a highlight of the day. Alongside this, you will also drive the stunning F-TYPE R Coupe.
For Jaguar fans, it really doesn’t get better than this.
